Old Amsterdam Mild
There is cheese and there is Old Amsterdam. Unique starter culture - Ripening in three stages. Released based on taste, not age. Old Amsterdam is a mature cheese, savoury with a slight sweetness. It is rich in ripening crystals but can be easily sliced. Natural product, ripened approximately 8 months on wood shelves. The exact ripening period varies based on the season.
Mild Gouda from Old Amsterdam has hints of buttery sweetness. The semi- soft and creamy texture makes this an excellent melting cheese, which is perfect for a great lunch or a toasted sandwich. Good choice for any cheese platter. Serve with wine (for example Pinot Grigio) or beer. It matures 4 moths.
