Asiago DOP Cheese
Thanks to its production in a strictly defined region and the unique recipe, which has been strictly protected for years, the cheese has earned a certificate confirming its origin and high quality – the Protected Designation of Origin certificate. It guarantees that the Asiago cheese is made with cow’s milk from farms within the defined geographical area, in dairies that are also located there. This region corresponds to the administrative area comprising the municipalities of the provinces of Vicenza, Trent, Padua and Treviso.
In addition, the cheese has a rich, distinctive flavour. Its elastic texture with visible small eyes works very well for slicing and grating into various dishes. You are free to experiment with it in your kitchen.
